The Difference: Wagyu vs Pure Wagyu

  • F1 Wagyu: Refers to a first-cross Wagyu, typically a 50/50 blend between Wagyu and another breed. While still beautifully marbled and tender, F1 Wagyu offers a balance of Wagyu richness with the stronger beefiness of its crossbred parentage.

  • Pure Wagyu: Comes from fullblood or purebred Wagyu genetics, carrying a much higher potential for marbling, texture, and flavour complexity. Pure Wagyu achieves the ultra-high marble scores of SB 8–9+ and needs to have at least 97.75% Wagyu genetics. This delivers the signature melt-in-your-mouth experience, luxurious richness, and silk-like tenderness Wagyu is world-renowned for.

We currently deliver to selected regions across Australia using refrigerated couriers and registered delivery vehicles. All orders are packed in insulated, biodegradable thermal boxes with ice packs to maintain cold chain integrity from our butcher shop to your door.

 

Delivery Conditions:

 

  • Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout.

  • If no one is home, orders may be left safely at the doorstep unless otherwise requested.

  • Once delivered, responsibility for the care of products transfers to the customer.

Returns & Refunds

 

Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns or refunds will only be processed if an issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery.

If you believe there has been an issue with your order such as a supply error or a product that doesn't meet our usual high standards, please contact our team within 24 hours of receiving your order.

We will assess the situation and, where appropriate, offer a refund, replacement, or store credit.
