At Peter Augustus Craft Butchers, we’re committed to delivering restaurant-quality meat and exceptional service. Every product is expertly selected, prepared, and packed by our butchers to ensure premium quality and freshness.

We currently deliver to selected regions across Australia using refrigerated couriers and registered delivery vehicles. All orders are packed in insulated, biodegradable thermal boxes with ice packs to maintain cold chain integrity from our butcher shop to your door.

Delivery Conditions

Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout. If no one is home, orders may be left safely at the doorstep unless otherwise requested. Once delivered, responsibility for the care of products transfers to the customer. Please refrigerate or freeze items as soon as possible upon delivery.

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business day. Delivery days and cut-off time is 1pm. You’ll receive a tracking link or notification from the courier once your order is on its way.

  • Brisbane Metro, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast – Monday to Friday delivery, allow 2–3 business days
  • Regional QLD – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, allow 2–3 business days
  • Remote QLD – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday depending on location, 3–4 business days from order

  • Sydney Metro – Delivery Monday to Friday, allow 2–3 business days

  • Adelaide Metro Only – Delivery generally on Tuesday’s, allow 5–7 business days from order

Adelaide cut-off time: Wednesdays 4pm at the latest for the next Tuesday deliveries.

At Peter Augustus, we take pride in delivering premium Australian meat always fresh, always handled with care. Every order is inspected by our craft butchers and packed under strict food-safety standards to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Because our products are perishable and temperature-sensitive, we generally cannot accept returns once they’ve left our facility. However, your satisfaction is our priority. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or not up to standard, please contact our team within 24 hours of delivery with a photo and order details. We’ll review your case promptly and, where appropriate, issue a replacement or refund.

Our goal is simple: to make sure every Peter Augustus order meets the same standard of excellence we promise in-store.

Return Conditions

If a return is approved, the following conditions apply:

  • The product must be in its original packaging
  • It must be stored at or below 4°C until returned
  • A valid proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) must be provided

Change of Mind

We’re unable to provide returns or refunds for change of mind or if a product doesn’t align with personal taste preferences. However, we’d be glad to suggest alternatives or recommend cuts and products that may better suit your preferences for future orders.
