Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Peter Augustus Craft Butchers, we're committed to delivering restaurant-quality meat and exceptional service.
Every product is expertly selected, prepared, and packed by our butchers to ensure premium quality and freshness. We currently deliver to selected regions across Australia using refrigerated couriers and registered delivery vehicles. All orders are packed in insulated, biodegradable thermal boxes with ice packs to maintain cold chain integrity from our butcher shop to your door.
Delivery Conditions
- Deliveries are made to the address provided at checkout.
- If no one is home, orders may be left in a safe place unless otherwise requested.
- Once delivered, responsibility for the care and storage of products transfers to the customer.
- Please refrigerate or freeze products as soon as possible upon delivery.

Store Pick Up
Orders selected for Store Pick Up are freshly prepared and packed either on the day of your order or the following day, then stored under chilled conditions until collection.
We recommend all orders be collected within 3 days of receiving your Ready for Pick Up notification to retain optimum freshness and quality.
Any order collected after 3 days falls outside our recommended collection window. While refrigerated storage is maintained, Peter Augustus cannot guarantee product freshness beyond this period, and any reduction in quality due to delayed collection will not be considered the responsibility of our store.

Delivery Timeframes
- We aim to dispatch orders within 1 business day.
- Order cut-off time is 1:00pm.
- You will receive tracking details or courier notifications once your order is on its way.

- Brisbane Metro, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast: Monday to Friday delivery, allow 2 to 3 business days.
- Regional QLD: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday delivery, allow 2 to 3 business days.
- Remote QLD: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday depending on location, allow 3 to 4 business days.

New South Wales
- Sydney Metro: Monday to Friday delivery, allow 2 to 3 business days.
- Regional NSW: Most zones delivered Monday to Friday depending on suburb.
- Remote NSW: Allow 3 to 4 business days from order.

Australian Capital Territory
- Canberra Metro & Surrounds: Delivery typically Tuesday and Friday. Allow 3 to 4 business days from order.
Victoria
- Melbourne Metro: Monday to Friday delivery on set weekdays depending on suburb. Allow 2 to 3 business days.
- Regional VIC: Delivery Tuesday or Wednesday, allow 3 to 4 business days.
- Remote VIC: Delivery Wednesdays, allow 4 to 5 business days from order.
