Yes, our butchers can accommodate your cutting preferences as long as they are safe and possible to do so. For instance, you might want the rump cap cut into steaks. Provide us with a thickness of the cut and/or weight per piece, example: Approximately 2.5cm, 300g pieces. Just leave clear instructions by messaging via our online chat or emailing us.
When you ask us to slice bulk beef into steaks, some weight loss is normal. • Meat naturally contains moisture which can be released over time. • End trimming, removal of gristle or fat, and slicing can result in slight loss. If absolute weight retention is critical, you can opt to receive the cut whole (so you do the cutting) or ask to keep the trim.
