How Our Cold Chain Delivery Works
Every order leaves our Brisbane facility in insulated cold chain packaging designed to maintain safe meat temperatures throughout transit. Delivery days are fixed by region. Your postcode determines which zone you fall into, and your order is scheduled to arrive on the next available delivery day for that zone after dispatch.
Daily cut-off
Orders placed by 11:59 pm AEST (Brisbane time) are dispatched the next business day. Orders placed after cut-off roll to the following business day automatically.
Weekends & holidays
We pack Monday to Friday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday orders all dispatch Monday. Public holidays are skipped, and the estimate above already accounts for them.
South Australia
SA runs to a weekly schedule. Orders go into production Thursday, dispatch Friday and deliver the following Tuesday, whatever day the order is placed.

Is my meat kept cold during delivery?
Yes. Every order is packed in insulated cold chain packaging with gel ice packs to maintain safe temperatures from dispatch to your door. We do not ship with standard room-temperature couriers.
What is the daily order cut-off time?
11:59 pm AEST (Brisbane time). Orders placed by then are dispatched the next business day. Orders placed after 11:59 pm are dispatched the business day after that.

Why does South Australia only deliver on Tuesdays?
SA deliveries follow a weekly refrigerated freight run that departs Brisbane on Fridays, with production the Thursday before. That run arrives the following Tuesday, which keeps the cold chain intact for the full interstate transit.
Can I get delivery on a weekend?
No. Our carrier runs Monday to Friday only, and we do not deliver on the same day an order is dispatched. Orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday are dispatched the following Monday.
