Stanbroke beef programs have earned recognition across Australian and international competitions. The useful question is not simply “What won?” — it is “Which beef style is right for me?”
Beef awards matter because they put tenderness, flavour, juiciness and consistency under independent scrutiny. Use those awards as reassurance — then choose between Pure Wagyu, Wagyu, Black Onyx Angus and Grass-Fed beef according to the experience you actually want.

Award-Winning Beef FAQs
Does an award mean every cut from that beef brand won?
No. Awards are given to specific competition entries or brand programs. They are useful evidence of the quality a producer can achieve.
Should I automatically choose the beef with the most marbling?
No. More marbling means more richness, not automatically a better steak for everyone. Choose the marble score that suits your taste and occasion.
What if I want rich Wagyu without going all the way to SB 10?
SB 4-5 is a strong middle ground for balanced Wagyu richness, while SB 8-9 moves into a more indulgent experience.
What should I choose if I prefer strong beef flavour?
Black Onyx is a strong option for premium Angus flavour with marbling. Grass-Fed is better when you prefer a leaner, beef-forward style.
Choose the Beef That Suits You.
Awards can prove quality. They cannot tell you whether you prefer buttery Pure Wagyu, balanced Wagyu, bold Black Onyx, or lean Grass-Fed beef. That part is yours.
